UEFA Centre Stage launched in 2024 as a new original content series across UEFA Play and UEFA’s digital platforms, designed to bring together global music artists and Champions League stars through conversations around the defining moments in their journeys. UEFA positioned the series as a crossover between football and music, pairing talent from both worlds in a format built for digital-first audiences.
The debut episode featured Macklemore and Christian Pulisic, reflecting on their rise to the top — from Pulisic’s first Champions League match to Macklemore’s breakthrough with Thrift Shop. Episode two paired Manuel Turizo with Cristian Romero, while episode three brought together Alessandro Nesta and Meduza, exploring their shared roots and Champions League memories.
Across all three episodes, the series generated close to 5 million views on YouTube, becoming a strong-performing new format for UEFA Play and helping expand the platform’s reach across both football and music audiences.
My involvement began during pre-production, where I developed the brand identity and creative direction for the series — shaping how Centre Stage would live across UEFA Play and wider digital channels.
As Creative Director and Design lead, I was responsible for the visual language of the show across design, motion graphics and set design, helping evolve the UEFA Play identity as the series expanded. The goal was to create a format that felt premium, culturally relevant and visually distinct — balancing football, music and storytelling in a way that felt native to both worlds.
