BRIEF
CREATE AND INTRODUCE NEW CONTENT SERIES 'CENTRE STAGE' TO UEFA PLATFORMS
RESPONSE
The brand new Centre Stage series debuted with four-time GRAMMY award-winning rapper Macklemore and UCL winner Christian Pulišić. For this episode, the pair met on neutral ground in London and sat down to discuss their highs and lows. The duo reflected on the pivotal moments that defined their paths to stardom, including Pulišić's first Champions League match and Macklemore's chart-topping hit, "Thrift Shop”.
We continued the series with Colombian chart-topper Manuel Turizo and Argentinian Centre-back Cristian Romero. The talented duo discussed their rapid ascent to the top, emphasising the significance of their South American roots and culture. As the series progressed, the UEFA Play branding evolved. At the clients request, the visual and graphic treatment for the series was updated.
This saw several changes introduced such as a playful new UEFA Play logo sting, engaging imagery and a new graphic treatment. In the latest episode, legendary Milan defender and two-time UCL winner Alessandro Nesta sat down with Grammy-nominated music group Meduza, to explore their Italian upbringings, a shared passion for Milan, and unforgettable Champions League memories.
My responsibilities on this project covered all design aspects from static to motion, set design, scripting and direction. The series continues. Learn more about Centre Stage, where football meets music - ON UEFA TV - https://www.uefa.tv/playlist/21872
